Senior Communications Advisor – Network Operations
Troocoo are recruiting a Senior Communications Advisor for a Government department to support major rail projects and network operations across South East Queensland.

This role focuses on delivering clear, customer-focused communications for track closures, service changes and major rail disruptions, working closely with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, operational readiness and a positive customer experience.

• 1 year contract commencing end February 2026!
• Up to $80 p/hour + super – agency contractor role
• Brisbane CBD location – WFH available after onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead communications for major track closures and service changes
• Develop and deliver customer messaging, FAQs and service updates
• Coordinate with project teams and key stakeholders
• Support frontline and customer service teams with briefings and readiness activities
• Contribute to risk management and continuous improvement

Your experience:

• Strong experience in communications, stakeholder engagement or service change delivery
• Background in infrastructure, transport, Government or complex operational environments
• Excellent written communication and coordination skills
• Confident operating in high-impact, fast-paced settings
