Senior Business Analyst
Job description
Troocoo are working with this Qld Government Department to identify an experienced Business Analyst to join on an initial 12 month contract.
About the Role
The ITD Transition Project includes the implementation of evidence-based ICT best practice to inform the design and establishment of the ITD operating model and organization structure. This includes resource and functional requirements, service and process design, and the implementation of best practice ICT services within the department for all strategic, operational and tactical requirements.
As the Technical Business Analyst, you will identify, analyse, and document current state and future state business process and requirements, where applicable, in the transition of the ITD including organisational, functional, service design and establishment, whilst always maintaining a customer focus.
Responsibilities
• Conduct Analysis of available information and data to draw conclusions and develop options.
• Develop high level reports that facilitate the consideration of key issues, options and enable decision-making.
• Assist with the development of business requirements specifications for ICT business requirements, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement, assessment and the development of a stakeholder matrix, and ongoing stakeholder management.
• Performing data interrogation, validation, dash boarding and modelling, work flows, events and sequence diagrams
Capabilities
• At least 5+ years Business Analyst experience
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Experience in analysing, isolating, and interpreting ICT business needs
• Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in business and technology service design for ICT transformation projects.
• Experience in a Queensland Government environment will be highly regarded
• Experience in Business Requirement development, data analysis and business process design
•Well-developed understanding of the application of change management processes and the impact of change on individuals and work groups within commercially driven client focused organisations
