The role reports to the Senior Project Manager, in relation to project risks, significant development issues and progress against the project schedule and will partner with solution architects and other technical experts to harness the full potential of the Microsoft stack.

- Working with internal stakeholders to lead the journey to transform business processes to be efficient, effective, and adaptable.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to stakeholders, cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering and analysing critical information from meetings with stakeholders and presenting findings in a meaningful way.
- Gathering, validating, and documenting requirements, use cases and user stories, for future state roles, responsibilities, and business processes.
- Ensuring legislative obligations are considered within the context of an enterprise digital platform.
- Explore or identify transformational opportunities of work practices as they arise.
- Ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts to key stakeholders.
- Estimating future state process time to identify potential business savings.
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by target audiences across the business.
- Provide support for implementing and testing proposed solutions.
- Supporting business transition and helping to manage change.
Required skills and competencies:
- Effective interactions, communication, and facilitation skills to elicit information and requirements from diverse audiences.
- Leading and documenting the business process transformation in large projects.
- Producing crystal-clear documentation including, but not limited to, use cases, user stories, and business process mapping (BPMN).
- ICT projects utilising the agile methodology with an aptitude to navigate fast-paced, iterative developments.
Mandatory experience or skills:
Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role working for a large IT/ICT organisation or IT Projects (involving significant and/or complex business change elements).
You must have experience in, and knowledge of, the following:
- Proven ability to lead and guide business process transformation with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to gather and document requirements that provide a solid foundation for the design and implementation of appropriate solutions using formal processes and methods while delivering rapid, incremental outcomes.
- Proven ability in the elicitation of business rules and business process mapping (using BPMN) and business process re-engineering and architecture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience employing accepted business analytical procedures and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and work across multiple initiatives and varying stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment and be adaptable to change.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the development and implementation of use cases and user stories with a team effectively and collaboratively.
- Well-developed communication and change management skills, including the ability to analyse business process models, business requirements, and project reports and provide accurate documentation, clear advice and accurate data as required.
- Proven facilitation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and solution capability.
- Experience with the process and lifecycle of customer applications, submission, assessment, and approvals.
- Experience working in agile multi-disciplinary teams to create detailed requirements for the detailed design and build phases.
- Experience working with government organisations (preferable but not mandatory).
