Scrum Master

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support high-performing agile teams and drive consistent, value-focused delivery in a complex, multi-team environment.

In this role, you will play a key part in improving flow, alignment, and delivery outcomes by coaching teams in agile principles, facilitating core ceremonies, removing impediments, and enabling transparency across stakeholders. You will help teams mature their agile practices, optimise capacity, and deliver outcomes aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities of the Scrum Master will include:
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
  • Coach teams, leaders, and stakeholders on agile values, principles, and practices
  • Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritisation, and clarity of goals
  • Improve delivery predictability, flow, and transparency using appropriate metrics
  • Identify and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies impacting delivery
  • Foster strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders, including vendors where required
  • Promote continuous improvement, experimentation, and team self-organisation
  • Create an inclusive, psychologically safe environment that supports team wellbeing and performance
Skills & Experience Required: 
  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Scrum Master in complex delivery environments
  • Strong practical experience with Agile frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban
  • Scrum Master certification (mandatory)
  • SAFe certification (highly desirable)
  • Experience working in large, global or multi-national organisations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and coaching skills
  • Proven ability to manage delivery risks, dependencies, and multi-team workloads
  • Demonstrated servant-leadership mindset with a focus on enabling teams
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline (highly regarded)
