The Scheduler / Rostering / Workforce Planner is responsible for ensuring consistent and reliable service delivery to clients by effectively forecasting and scheduling front-line teams.

- Generating fortnightly rosters across all programs while optimising coverage, collaborating with the Workforce Planning & Data Analytics Lead and the Senior Leadership Team to plan for backfilling of leave, and communicating with staff regarding shifts/rosters and planned and unplanned leave.
- The role also involves adjusting rosters/schedules to reflect hours worked for payroll, scheduling staff training shifts and team meetings, responding to staff requests regarding rostering, and making recommendations for improvements to rostering systems and data gathering.
- Furthermore, the role includes optimising activities based on a revised forecast, reallocating staff across different queues based on client demand, and providing reporting based on extracted data from relevant systems. Overall, the Workforce Planner position is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of front-line teams and maintaining high service delivery standards, all while collaborating with the broader organisation to support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement. Experience Required:
- Experience in workforce planning, rostering or scheduling in any industry however working in a not-for-profit is desirable.
- Highly competent in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Rostering software experience high regarded.
- Concise attention to detail and committed to delivering to exceptional workforce support.
- Exceptional and effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
