About the Business

A major player in the financial services sector is engaging specialist capability to support a time-critical reporting workstream within a broader performance improvement program. The organisation operates in a highly regulated environment and places strong emphasis on analytical integrity, clarity of insight, and effective decision support.

This assignment is build-focused. You will be responsible for developing new dashboards and reporting solutions from scratch, rather than maintaining or enhancing existing reports. The role sits at the intersection of performance analysis, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder engagement, requiring both technical depth and strong commercial judgement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that clearly articulate investment performance
• Convert complex data and stakeholder requirements into structured, easy-to-use reporting outputs
• Utilise existing datasets and models to produce reliable and scalable insights
• Apply best-practice Power BI design principles to ensure clarity, usability, and consistency
• Ensure reporting outputs align with governance frameworks and regulatory expectations
• Work closely with performance, risk, and regulatory stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes
• Provide specialist reporting expertise to support the wider performance improvement initiative

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience delivering Power BI reporting solutions end-to-end in a financial services setting
• Strong exposure to investment performance or asset management reporting
• Advanced Power BI capability, including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, project-based contract environment
• Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
