Reconciliations Officer

Troocoo are excited to be partnering with a large State Government Department based in Brisbane CBD. Due to an increase in workload we are currently working with this client to recruit multiple Reconciliation Officers on a full time temporary contract for 2-3 months initially, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
Position Overview:
As a Reconciliations Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to resolve any outstanding issues. This role requires a proactive individual who is adept at problem-solving, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a thorough understanding of financial processes.

About You:
We are looking for a process and outcomes driven candidate who prides themselves on their high level of attention to detail. You will have prior experience in a finance or accounts position with direct exposure to reconciliations and have a strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also have experience using SAP and is confident using Microsoft Excel.

- Disbursement of outgoing payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all reconciliation activities.
