An established, purpose-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its PMO and lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives.
These projects are focused on enhancing customer experience, strengthening delivery partnerships, and modernising operational frameworks to support long-term performance and sustainability.
The Role
Reporting to the Program Manager / PMO Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management — from scoping and planning through to governance, risk management, reporting and delivery oversight.
You will work closely with initiative leads and cross-functional teams to ensure clarity of scope, alignment to timelines, and accountability for outcomes.
The role requires strong facilitation capability, confidence operating in ambiguity, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, executable plans.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate structured scoping workshops and define clear project deliverables, assumptions and constraints
- Develop and maintain Project Management Plans aligned to PMO standards
- Build and manage detailed schedules in MS Project Online, including critical path and dependency mapping
- Establish and actively manage RAID registers, escalating key risks and issues as required
- Oversee day-to-day project coordination, ensuring delivery milestones are met
- Support and uplift monthly reporting across workstreams to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare governance documentation, including Steering Committee packs, executive summaries and decision briefs
- Extensive demonstrated experience managing large, multi-faceted projects
- Demonstrated success delivering initiatives that integrate people, process and technology change
- Strong governance, risk and financial management capability
- Proven ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to tailor project management methodologies to suit organisational maturity
- Experience within customer-facing programs, service redesign initiatives, or purpose-led organisations will be highly regarded.
