Project Manager, Governance (AO8)

Job description

Troocoo are proud to be partnering with Queensland Treasury on the recruitment of a Project Manager, Governance (AO8) within the Low Emissions Investment Partnership Program (LEIP) team of Queensland Treasury. The $520 million program is a new and cutting-edge initiative of the Queensland Government to fast-track emissions reduction and attract new investment opportunities to the State.
  
As the Project Manager (AO8) you will support the delivery, development and implementation of governance frameworks and strategy associated with the LEIP program.
  • Support a team to engage, assess and deliver the LEIP program objectives to accelerate emissions reduction and promote new investment outcomes in Queensland.
  • Provide strategic analysis and advice to key decision makers on program delivery including governance, performance, monitoring and reporting.
  • Support the LEIP team in complex and sensitive commercial negotiations with private sector proponents on the Government’s requirements for LEIP proposals.
  • Support delivery of an engagement strategy with key internal and external stakeholders..
  • Lead management, monitoring and reporting on contracted projects.
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of a large and complex programs from a governance perspective.
  • Experience in supporting stakeholder engagement to ensure program outcomes and support the strategic direction of the program.
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring a high standard of governance and risk management and guiding decision-making processes.
  • Experience in negotiating with the private sector to secure successful outcomes.

Annual salary: $130,699 - $138,117 per annum.
