About the Role
You’ll lead end‑to‑end delivery of a prioritised backlog of improvements spanning HR, payroll, finance, automation, integration and operational processes. The work is iterative, benefits‑driven, legislatively influenced, and requires excellent coordination across business and technical teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing scope, objectives, scheduling, and integrated delivery plans
- Producing governance artefacts aligned to a structured project lifecycle (business cases, status reports, RAID logs, approvals, etc.)
- Running agile/SCRUM‑style delivery, maintaining and prioritising a backlog of changes
- Managing internal resources and vendor engagements
- Financial management (budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking)
- Coordinating dependencies and preparing steering committee updates
- Extensive experience leading and delivering IT or business‑systems projects end‑to‑end
- Strong governance experience and production of artefacts aligned with frameworks like PRINCE2 or similar
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, shifting priorities and tight legislative/benefits‑driven timelines
- Experience in agile project environments (SCRUM, backlog management, iterative delivery)
- Ability to manage complex environments with multiple integration points and cross‑skilled teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement across executive and operational groups
- Hybrid: 2–3 days on‑site per week; on‑site attendance required for priority in‑person sessions
- Location‑specific: Only candidates able to work on‑site at the designated Brisbane campus will be considered (no remote or interstate arrangements)
- 12‑month contract
