Troocoo is proud to be partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a Programmatic Marketing Specialist. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing in-house digital marketing team at a pivotal stage of its maturity, working with some of Australia’s largest media publishers and owning high-impact programmatic campaigns end to end.

The team has brought its paid digital activity in-house and is continuing to invest in capability, tools and partnerships. With strong leadership support, established relationships with major publishers, and a clear appetite for innovation, this role offers both immediate impact and long-term career growth.

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, this role is the programmatic expert within a high-performing in-house team. You will plan, execute and optimise programmatic activity across digital video, display and paid social, supporting both brand and acquisition objectives.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll manage campaigns from briefing and strategy through to execution, optimisation and reporting, working closely with marketing, brand and digital stakeholders. You’ll also act as a key conduit between the business and major media publishers.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Plan, execute and optimise programmatic campaigns across digital video, display and paid social.
  • Own campaign setup, pacing, optimisation and performance against agreed budgets and KPIs.
  • Work directly with major media publishers to negotiate placements and access new formats.
  • Use data and insights to inform targeting, messaging and investment decisions.
  • Deliver clear, timely reporting and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Support brand lift measurement and ensure activity delivers both brand and commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, brand and acquisition teams in a fast-paced, in-house environment.
  • Help shape and mature programmatic processes as the function continues to evolve.
About You
You’re a programmatic specialist who enjoys being close to the work and owning outcomes. You’re comfortable working in environments with some ambiguity, can juggle multiple moving parts, and communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You’ll likely come from an agency or sophisticated in-house environment and be motivated by the opportunity to see the tangible impact of your work in market.

Key Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in programmatic or digital media, ideally agency-side
  • Strong hands-on DSP experience (Google DV360 highly preferred; Trade Desk or similar also considered)
  • Experience delivering digital video, display and paid social campaigns at scale
  • Confident managing six-figure+ media budgets and making data-led recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Financial services experience is advantageous but not essential
