We are seeking an experienced Program Transition Manager on a 12 month contract opportunity, to lead the Transition Workstream within the MyTime Program, a key initiative aimed at modernising workforce and payroll systems.
This role will ensure a successful cutover to a new HCM/Payroll ERP solution, manage the Hypercare (post go-live support) phase, and oversee the seamless operational integration of the new system.
You'll bring leadership, structure, and strategic oversight to a complex enterprise rollout — working alongside business, IT, and vendor teams to deliver lasting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Cutover Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Cutover Strategy and Plan.
- Create and maintain a detailed Cutover Runsheet and "Plan on a Page."
- Coordinate and lead cutover rehearsals and final execution.
- Ensure all contributors understand their responsibilities and timelines.
- Mitigate risks and ensure business continuity throughout the transition.
- Provide real-time updates and issue resolution during cutover activities.
- Hypercare Leadership
- Lead the Hypercare phase, ensuring system stability, performance and effective user support.
- Develop and maintain the Hypercare Plan with detailed schedules, tasks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate resolution of post-go-live incidents and change requests.
- Manage the transition of responsibilities to ongoing operational teams.
- Oversee documentation and knowledge transfer processes.
- Provide ongoing reporting on post-go-live support progress and system performance.
- Stakeholder & Communication
- Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout cutover and Hypercare.
- Produce regular reports on transition progress, incident response times, and issue resolution.
- Proven leadership of at least two complex ERP cutovers, including Hypercare delivery.
- High Level demonstrated experience in ERP transition management, preferably within HCM and/or payroll environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure during time-critical system go-lives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and issue resolution skills.
- Ability to manage project schedules, deliverables, and resource coordination effectively.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive decision-making.
- Desirable:
- Experience working in public sector, education, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with operational readiness, user acceptance testing, or service transition practices.
