Procurement Transformation Lead

Troocoo is working with one of our key clients, who is undergoing a major procure to pay uplift and broader procurement transformation. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Transformation Lead to step into a high-impact role driving the project management and commercial outcomes across multiple short-term projects. This role is an initial 3 month position. 
  
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior procurement professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a good understanding of finance systems, enjoys building structure during change, and is confident leading transformation projects. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ICT procurement transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Guide stakeholders through commercial decision-making to support digital and technology outcomes.
  • Conduct complex contract and commercial negotiations to secure favourable terms and mitigate risk.
  • Manage vendor performance, contract obligations, and delivery milestones.
  • Work across multiple concurrent transformation projects, providing hands-on support where needed.
  • Ensure all procurement activities meet governance, compliance, and probity requirements
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in, Procure to Pay Transformations, ICT procurement transformations, category management, or procurement transformation roles.
  • Strong understanding of commercial frameworks, contracting models, and project management. 
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations and deliver value in fast-paced or rapidly changing environments.
  • High-level stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Ability to work independently, manage conflicting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, pragmatic, and outcomes-driven approach.
