Procurement Specialist

The Position 
Troocoo is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation based in Brisbane CBD. Due to continued growth and transformation, they are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team initially on a minimum 6 month contract basis.
  
Reporting to the Senior Leaders, this role will manage end to end procurement activities across a diverse range of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare procurement and contracting documentation, including approvals, tenders, evaluations, recommendations, variations, and terminations.
  • Lead sourcing and purchasing activity across multiple categories, primarily goods.
  • Manage the transition and implementation of new contracts, suppliers, and processes.
  • Support procurement strategy development, including category planning, vendor management, risk, and commercial outcomes.
  • Analyse and report on supplier performance, supply chain risks, and procurement activity to drive improvements.
  • Conduct business needs assessments, market analysis, and commercial risk evaluations to inform decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, senior leaders, and vendors to optimise outcomes.
  • Analyse expenditure data and produce reports to support procurement strategy delivery.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, category management, or contract specialist role.
  • Outcome-driven with a strong ability to manage procurement processes efficiently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
