The Role


Reporting to the Head of Procurement & Partnerships, the Procurement Relationship Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional supplier performance through effective contract governance, compliance oversight, and relationship management. You will support procurement functions and manage key supplier partnerships across operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers to meet performance, cost, quality, and risk objectives.
  • Support procurement activities within appropriate governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Conduct regular performance audits and develop supplier improvement plans.
  • Lead contract reviews, manage KPIs, and hold suppliers accountable to agreed standards.
  • Analyse supplier data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Attend supplier meetings, resolve disputes, and escalate compliance issues where necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance, legal, operations, and risk functions.
  • Assist with internal reporting, executive dashboards, and vendor governance documentation.
  • Support regulatory compliance and contribute to risk management strategy.
  • Foster a collaborative and commercially aware culture that delivers member and customer value.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in procurement, vendor, or supplier relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance, performance management, and governance.
  • Proven track record and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence. 
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
  • Exposure to financial services, insurance, or highly regulated industries is desirable.
