Procurement Officer

Job description

Troocoo is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our client’s procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. 
  
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their procurement career within a supportive and high-performing team. You’ll be involved in end-to-end procurement activities, supplier engagement, and contract management, helping to deliver real value across the organisation. This role offers 50% work-from-home flexibility.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Contribute to category planning, risk management, and supplier relationship management initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across a range of categories.
  • Ensure successful handover and implementation of new contracts, suppliers, and processes to business owners.
  • Undertake business needs assessments, supply market analysis, and commercial risk assessments to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance to ensure compliance and value delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.
Skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Officer, or Sourcing Officer position.
  • Proven ability to provide data analysis and reporting to a range of business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills.
  • Ability to deliver quality outcomes within set timeframes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Commerce are highly desirable.
