Troocoo is exclusively partnered with a leading infrastructure services business to recruit a Group Category Manager based in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs. This position is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days of work-from-home flexibility once you are settled into the role.
The Position
As a key member of the Group Category Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving commercial outcomes across indirect categories, including professional services, facilities management, fleet, and logistics.

The Position
As a key member of the Group Category Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving commercial outcomes across indirect categories, including professional services, facilities management, fleet, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of category strategies.
- Develop and implement forward-thinking initiatives to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Drive strategic sourcing projects, ensuring best practice procurement and value for money.
- Build, manage, and enhance supplier relationships to drive innovation and high performance.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead commercial negotiations.
- Monitor supplier performance and nurture long-term strategic partnerships.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities while ensuring governance, compliance, and sustainability.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a category management role within a corporate environment.
- Experience managing indirect procurement categories from strategy development, through to contract execution and ongoing supplier relationship management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to deliver cost savings.
- High attention to detail with excellent presentation skills.
