Our Client

Our client is a global leader providing goods and services to various industries, including mining, construction, and transport. Currently undergoing a restructure of the Procurement function, our client is looking to elevate the business unit to deliver procurement activities, driving further value and cost-saving initiatives.

The Position

We are recruiting a Procurement Analyst to join the team on a 6-month contract, based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs, 5 days per week.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyse, extract, cleanse, and interpret supply chain and procurement data.
  • Supply accurate and timely reports to the procurement department and other key stakeholders.
  • Be the subject matter expert for Procurement data analytics and reporting.
  • Analyse spend data and provide relevant insights to improve procurement decision-making.
  • Develop and manage models/systems/tools to generate dashboard-style reporting.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement of Procurement reporting processes and systems.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in procurement, operations and/or financial analysis/principles
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality reporting within tight timeframes
  • Strong data extraction, analysis and process mapping skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capability with experience using ERP systems and Power BI
  • Solid knowledge of procurement processes is not essential but highly desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Analysis or a related field is highly desirable
