Principal Procurement Specialists | Queensland Government
Troocoo are seeking experienced procurement professionals to lead complex, high-value procurement and contract management activities within a large, operational Government environment.

You will provide expert advice across sourcing, contract management, and procurement planning, ensuring compliance with the QLD Government procurement policy while driving value, efficiency, and risk management.

Labour hire contractor rate: $118.45 p/hour + super (PAYG arrangement only) | Brisbane CBD | Contract: 20/04/2026 to 18/10/2026, with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across goods, services, ICT, and social services categories
• Provide high-level, strategic procurement and contract management advice to senior stakeholders
• Develop sourcing strategies, procurement plans, and forward procurement pipelines
• Manage complex tenders, evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards
• Establish and manage panel and standing offer arrangements
• Ensure probity, compliance, and robust audit trails across all procurement activities
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and industry

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in complex Government procurement and contract management
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks and governance requirements
• Proven ability to manage high-risk, high-value procurement processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
• Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal history check.
