About the Role
As a Principal Planner (AO7), you’ll lead complex planning initiatives and help deliver transformative development outcomes across the state. You’ll collaborate with Government, industry, and communities to shape places where Queenslanders live, work, and thrive.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert advice on complex land use planning matters
  • Lead strategic and statutory planning assessments
  • Deliver high-quality reports, briefings, and recommendations
  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive timely outcomes
  • Support major development projects and infrastructure delivery
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a high-performing culture
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in land use challenges and associated legislation and policy
  • Ability to navigate complex planning challenges
  • Excellent research, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative, outcome-focused mindset
Tertiary qualifications in planning or a related field are highly regarded
