We are seeking interest for a hands-on Practice Manager/COO to oversee the day-to-day administration of the practice. You will work closely with the Legal Directors to manage the Support Services Team and ensure the smooth operation of the firm. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Collaborate with Legal Directors to oversee daily operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and executing strategic and corporate plans.
  • Financial Management: Handle compliance, reporting, trust account management, and payroll systems.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Oversee the firm's website, social media platforms, and customer experience program.
  • Facilities and Office Management: Ensure the efficient management of firm facilities.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with various legislation.
  • IT Management: Oversee IT services and support functions.
  • Human Resources: Manage recruitment, performance reviews, training, and compliance with HR legislation.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Over five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in professional services.
  • Experience in financial management, compliance, trust account management, and payroll.
  • Experience in document or customer management systems; legal practice management software experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience overseeing IT support functions with external providers.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources, Workplace, Health and Safety, and other relevant legislation.
