Power Apps Developer

Job description

A Queensland Government Agency is seeking an experienced Power Apps / SharePoint Developer to deliver key digital solutions supporting facilities management, ICT services, and reporting initiatives. This role will see you working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver fit-for-purpose applications, automation, and Power BI reporting.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director – Finance, Facilities and Procurement, you will:
  • Develop and maintain custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps
  • Automate workflows and processes with Power Automate
  • Design and deliver Power BI dashboards, including real-time reporting for in-vehicle management applications
  • Work with technical owners and vendors to configure and implement solutions
  • Assist with SharePoint development, application support, and ongoing maintenance
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and user-friendly
  • Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and training as required
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in similar development roles
  • Strong hands-on skills in:
    • Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
    • SharePoint, SQL, REST APIs
    • JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Azure
  • Strong understanding of software development principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
