Portfolio Scheduler
Job description
This role is to monitor program(s) performance, not execution of work. The execution (end- to-end project management lifecycle) is completed by the accountable applicant (eg; Councils).

Work with the Manager - Portfolio Performance and Monitoring and the Director - Portfolio Manager (Operations team) to undertake the following:
- Developing, producing, analysing and monitoring the portfolio (master schedule) and programs schedule performance
- Carry out the end-to-end schedule process for the Executive Briefings and Operations Board Reports cycles / frequencies (monthly)
- Document, embed and sustain appropriate portfolio scheduling process to ensure governance of reporting, data quality, accuracy and integrity is maintained and sustainable
- Work with key stakeholders across the business to maintain latest data in Primavera P6
- Intermediate level in Primavera P6
- Intermediate level in MS Excel
- Intermediate level in MS Office 365 suite
- Intermediate level in document control solutions
- Beginner level in MS PowerBi
- Developing, producing, analysing and monitoring portfolio (master schedule) and programs schedule performance including:
Monthly schedule performance including variance analysis (e.g. critical path, progress updates, key milestones, baseline reviews and reforecasting)
Monthly schedule financial performance including variance analysis (e.g. forecast, actual expenditure and contingency)
Providing detailed understanding of structure between portfolio, programs and projects (Eg; WBS layout)
Maintain extension of time approvals in Primavera P6
Interpreting and providing commentary to key stakeholders captured in Primavera P6 on a monthly basis
Monthly consolidation and analysis of portfolio and programs schedule performance
Uplifting Portfolio maturity for schedule and dependency management across the Portfolio (master schedule)
Earned value performance monitoring and reporting (future requirement)

- Maintain data integrity between Primavera P6 and the Organisation's internal System (Dynamic CRM)
