About the Position:
Joining the Investments division, in the Equities & ESG team, you will be part of an enthusiastic team that has an infectious passion for what they do and a clear understanding of the impact their team can have on members’ best financial interests.
- Assist in the monitoring of equity managers for performance and process anomalies.
- Ensure due diligence is regularly conducted and documented.
- Research current equity managers investment and ESG credentials.
- Liaise with Investment Operations and Compliance as required.
- Assist with the implementation and reporting of proxy voting and stewardship activities as required.
- Monitor and work with the team in respect of oversight of equity and ESG requirements.
- Responsibility for compiling the Investment Manager part of the corporate Modern Slavery Report.
- Facilitate the provision of input into the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) as required.
- Input into various ad hoc tasks as required at a team level including Investment Committee and Board Reports and Executive IC.
- 5 – 10 years’ experience within an investment management division/organisation.
- The ideal candidate has prior knowledge and experience across Equities and ESG.
- You will possess innovative and creative problem solving skills; eager to find solutions.
- You will have a passion for what you do and a natural ability to build relationships; a desire to help people inside and outside of your team.
- Confidence in engaging with operational and executive stakeholders.
- Strong data management and analysis skills is required; this role will require confidence with large data sets.
