We are recruiting experienced Personal Care Workers to join our clients in the beautiful areas around Mackay and surrounding areas. 

Your day to day will include: 

• Assist with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility by helping residents move, transfer, or reposition in bed, and assist with walking aids or wheelchairs.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes in condition, including pain, mood, or physical issues, to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in conversations, activities, and offering comfort to residents.
• Help with meals and nutrition by assisting residents with eating, drinking, and ensuring special dietary needs are met.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining residents’ rooms, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting with laundry.
• Promote independence by encouraging residents to participate in daily tasks and activities as much as possible.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, including documenting any changes in residents' health or behavior.
• Support with recreational activities to improve residents' physical and mental well-being.

These duties ensure that personal care workers support residents with dignity and respect while promoting their well-being in an aged care setting.
