Container Exchange is appointed by the Queensland government to manage and grow Queensland’s container refund scheme – Containers for Change.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Coordinator to take the lead on recruitment and onboarding and to support delivery of people solutions across the full range of HR functions.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager - People & Culture, you will join a small dedicated and passionate team who play a pivotal role in nurturing workplace culture and supporting the talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage talent attraction and recruitment, working closely with COEX leaders, external recruitment agencies and candidates.
- Manage onboarding and induction processes to ensure a positive experience for prospective, new, and existing employees.
- Provide administrative support and reporting across the employment life cycle.
- Become a subject matter expert in COEX’s people system (Elmo) ensuring a high level of accuracy and system optimization.
- Providing exceptional customer service by offering prompt and accurate advice on general People and Culture queries.
- Assist in identifying and implementing initiatives focused on driving a positive culture and inclusiveness.
- Assist with coordination of P&C calendar such as annual performance and remuneration reviews and succession planning.
About You:
- You must be aligned with Container Exchange values and purpose.
- You be qualified in HR or a related field, and have had previous experience working within either a People and Culture or Recruitment team.
- As the recruitment and onboarding lead you will be experienced delivering end to end recruitment solutions and be passionate about creating an exceptional experience for employees
- You will be known for your positive attitude ability to think outside the box to deliver solutions for the business.
- You will demonstrate capacity for creative thinking and possess sound judgment to navigate the most appropriate course of action.
- As a member of the P&C team you will possess confidence to liaise with a variety of stakeholders and be able to build strong working relationships across the business.
- Strong attention to detail is required along with exceptional communication written and verbal communication skills.
