About the Company 

This successful and well known company are looking for a Payroll Officer with some experience to join the Payroll and HR team. One of Australia's leading banks, with a global reputation. The continued growth of the organisation has resulted in this newly created position. 

About the Role

The Payroll Officer will be looking to own their role and be a reliable team member who can process accurate payment of salaries and wages. The HR and Payroll team are a collaborative team with a supportive nature.

  • Reconcile between the Payroll System and T&A system.
  • Ensure accuracy of PAYG payments to the ATO.
  • Maintain payroll records and accurate recording of award information. 
  • Manage New employees, Termination of employees and annual leave.
  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of annual salaries to the ATO
  • Continually improve the processes and operations of the team.
The Ideal Candidate

The Payroll Officer will enjoy a hands on processing role, getting involved in all areas of payroll. You will ideally bring the following;
  • Experience of processing payroll. 
  • Have good communications skills. 
  • Bring a customer service approach. 
  • Ability to help improve processes.
