About The Role
Reporting into the Human Resources Manager as the Human Resources and Payroll Administrator, you will actively contribute to the efficiency of the department. Supporting on all administrative tasks you will drive operational productivity from a continuous improvement perspective. You will deliver accurate and timely outcomes on all payroll and human resources tasks including systems and data management, pay cycle processing, inbox and general enquiry management and onboarding while ensuring compliance with legislation and internal requirements. Supporting across all elements of payroll you will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the effective organisation and management of all employee administration.
Day to day you will:
  • Provide general administration support to the business including monthly payroll processing, contract and letter generation, employee file and data management and new starter care.
  • Update, maintain and ensure compliance of payroll and HR matters including policies and procedures in line with legal and business requirements.
  • Deliver accurate support and guidance through inbox management, assisting where possible or escalating where necessary.
  • Manage the Payroll system and HRIS, resolving any issues internally or with suppliers.

You will also have:
  • Experience in a fast-paced complex payroll function supporting on all matters.
  • Expert knowledge and application skills in HRIS & Payroll software like SAGE Micro pay or Connex.
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines while managing conflicting and confidential administrative priorities.
  • Capability to work accurately and at pace, with a focus on customer service.
  • Drive and motivation to think operationally and take initiative when it comes to problem solving.
