The Role
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of weekly payroll while also supporting broader finance operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing weekly payroll for employees
- Interpreting and applying multiple Enterprise Agreements, individual contracts, and casual awards
- Maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance, and reconciliation
- Supporting leave, allowance, and payroll-related reporting
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable as part of a cross-skilled finance team
- Providing payroll insights that support month-end and financial reporting
- Assisting with payroll processes during and after ERP system implementation
You are a payroll professional who values accuracy, compliance, and teamwork.
You will ideally bring:
- Proven experience in payroll processing within a complex award environment
- Strong award and EA interpretation skills
- Experience working in medium to large organisations (blue-collar or operational environments highly regarded)
- Confidence learning new payroll systems and processes
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support broader finance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
