About the Opportunity
Troocoo is proud to partner with a leading Queensland based organisation to bring to market multiple Network Engineer opportunities. This is an exciting time to join newly formed teams that have been created to support strategic transformation activity.
All critical technical services across networks, hosting, compute, storage and database are being brought inhouse, enabling our client to transform their services and provide excellent customer experiences.
The Network Engineer will have extensive expertise relating to the organisation’s networking solutions, providing due diligence and knowledge across the network technology domain at approximately 45 sites. The domain includes VPN, LAN, WAN, data centre core networks, firewalls, and load balancers.
To be considered for this role, the following key technical competencies and personable attributes will be required;
• Substantial general work experience together with job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 3 years)
• Strong practical network management in large geographically dispersed organisations.
• Strong network management including communications links, routing, switching, firewalls, mobile & Wi-Fi technologies, and network security.
• Network operations monitoring, including managing endpoint configuration, and responding to system monitoring events.
• Continuously improve processes & technologies and drive a culture of innovation across the business.
• High level analysis and problem solving including identifying business requirements and making technical, business and process recommendations.
• Highly developed verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a defining restructure for a market leader.
Please note: This opportunity requires the successful candidate to be located in Brisbane, and cannot be offered on a remote basis. There will also be some travel required as part of the role as needed, and be part of a on-call roster after a few months in the role.
