As Manager, Governance, you will deliver corporate governance advice and support to the organisation with an initial focus on uplifting the delegations instrument, policy framework and internal system of control. Beyond this initial focus you will develop a governance, risk and compliance roadmap and work collaboratively with business areas to deliver on these priorities.
This role reports to the Director, Performance & People and currently has one direct report.
Key responsibilities of this role:
Lead the corporate governance, risk and compliance function for the organisation.
Deliver quality and timely corporate governance, risk & compliance advice and support to the executive team which enables the achievement of organisational objectives.
Develop, implement and continually improve the corporate policy framework, including the delegations of authority, in collaboration with business areas.
Develop and execute a fit for purpose risk management framework for the organisation.
Facilitate and coordinate the delivery of the organisation’s corporate reporting obligations including strategic and operational planning, annual reporting, and service delivery statements (SDS).
Deliver corporate policy training to staff, uplifting knowledge and compliance with policies and procedures.
Undertake committee secretariat duties as requested.
