Duties include but are not limited to:
- Serve as an SME for JD Edwards (JDE) ERP, providing deep knowledge of the system’s functionalities, modules, and best practices.
- Lead the configuration of JDE systems to meet business requirements across various functions such as Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Procurement.
- Provide ongoing support for JDE system enhancements, updates, and upgrades.
- Analyse system performance and propose optimisations to ensure efficient use of JDE software.
- Support the development and enhancement of business processes and workflows by configuring JDE modules according to business needs.
- Provide training and mentorship to end-users, empowering them to utilize JDE systems effectively and optimise their workflow.
- Identify integration needs, coordinate with development teams, and ensure smooth data flow between JDE and other business systems (e.g., CRM, data warehouses).
- Lead or participate in JDE-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and customisations.
- Recommend and implement best practices for leveraging new JDE features to improve system functionality and drive continuous improvement
Required Experience:
- Experience in multiple JDE modules or business functions, such as Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain, is highly desirable.
- Experience with JDE in specific industries such as manufacturing, distribution, or retail is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with JD Edwards ERP systems, with hands-on experience in configuration, customisation, and support.
- In-depth knowledge of JDE modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR), Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Inventory, Procurement), Distribution, and HR.
- Expertise in JDE system configuration, batch processing, data flow, and system troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies, system performance issues, and opportunities for optimization within the JDE environment.
- Ability to diagnose complex system issues, propose solutions, and implement effective fixes or improvements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage effectively with both technical teams and business users.
- Experience managing or participating in ERP-related projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Experience with JDE-related tools (e.g., JDE Orchestrator, AIS, Orchestrator Studio), SQL, and other ERP integration tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- JD Edwards or Oracle certifications related to JDE modules and functionalities are a plus.
