ICT Procurement Manager

Troocoo is proudly partnering with a major government client to source an experienced and strategic ICT Procurement Manager (EL1 equivalent). In this key leadership role, you will oversee a team of procurement and contract management professionals delivering complex ICT procurement initiatives within the public sector.

You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic procurement advice, managing compliance with Commonwealth frameworks, and ensuring high-value, transparent outcomes in line with government expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals
  • Provide high-level commercial and contractual advice to stakeholder
  • Manage complex, end-to-end ICT procurement activities
  • Ensure compliance with PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, and internal policy
  • Collaborate with executives, product owners, and internal teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Prepare procurement documentation including RFTs, evaluation plans, and contracts
  • Represent your division at internal and external meetings and forums
Essential Criteria
  • Demonstrated alignment with the role’s Statement of Requirement
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in government procurement and contracts
  • Proven leadership in managing teams at an Executive Level
  • Certificate IV (or higher) in ICT Procurement and Contract Management
  • In-depth knowledge of PGPA Act, CPRs, and relevant policies
  • Must be an Australian Citizen (evidence required)
  • Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extensions
