This newly appointed Human Resources Manager role will play a critical part in supporting leaders and frontline teams across the business, while building scalable people systems to support future growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, this is a hands-on, operational HR leadership role with accountability across the full employee lifecycle. You will lead a small HR and support team, work closely with Project Managers and Rig Managers, and provide trusted, practical people leadership across both field and corporate workforces.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to operations, balancing day-to-day HR delivery with continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of four direct reports across HR and operational support functions
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, ER matters and terminations
- Partner with Project Managers, Rig Managers and senior leaders to provide practical, compliant people advice
- Drive workforce planning and recruitment strategies aligned to operational demand
- Oversee remuneration, benefits and annual review processes for field and office employees
- Support payroll enquiries and provide general payroll oversight
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs and internal communications
- Support LSR committee activities in partnership with HSE, including WorkCover and common law matters
- Contribute to board reporting, leadership forums and management strategy discussions
- Oversee office operations support including travel, accommodation and site requirements
- Play a key role in upcoming projects including HR, training and operational streamlining and UKG system implementation
You are a confident, grounded HR leader who thrives in operational environments and enjoys working closely with the business. You are comfortable dealing with strong personalities, making decisions and balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior HR or HR Manager role within resources, infrastructure or similarly operational environments
