About the Role:
As a HSW Business Partner, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders and leaders to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and safety excellence. This role will see you have a seat at the table in joining site leadership conversations addressing challenges and providing insights. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping HSW practices, ensuring consistency across your portfolio, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to enhance safety and organizational culture.
- Influence and improve processes, systems, and planning.
- Manage HSW risks effectively.
- Address HSW priorities and challenges.
- Deliver HSW training through various methods.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant experience.
- Formal training in Incident Investigation (e.g., ICAM, TapRoot).
- Lead Auditor in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
- Unrestricted driver’s licence.
- Proven experience in similar roles, working with contractors and conducting incident investigations.
- Previous experience working across multiple sites.
- Appointment to this role is subject to a national police check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to mentor and be mentored, sharing ideas and information.
- Skilled in negotiation and conflict management.
- Proficiency in project and change management.
- Expertise in using technology to analyse data and identify trends.
