About the Role

Troocoo is proud to partner with a large, purpose-driven organisation to recruit an experienced HR Officer to join their People & Performance function.

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, this role provides hands-on HR support across multiple business units. You will work closely with leaders and employees to deliver timely, practical and solutions-focused HR advice while supporting broader people initiatives and projects.
This is a true generalist role suited to someone who enjoys variety, stakeholder engagement and making a tangible impact through strong people practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice to leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle
  • Support performance and disciplinary matters, including investigations and outcomes
  • Assist with WHS and wellbeing matters, escalating complex issues as required
  • Draft employment contracts, variations, probation confirmations and HR correspondence
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including new starter check-ins
  • Manage HR administration, inbox enquiries and employee records
  • Assist with HR reporting, metrics and documentation
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives
  • Contribute to engagement, retention and capability-building activities
  • Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and WHS frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
  • High attention to detail with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Confident handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient across the Microsoft Office suite
