Troocoo are proud to be partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit an experienced HR professional into a pivotal leadership role within their Brisbane office.

This position will play a key role in transforming the organisation into a more competitive and high-performing workplace by taking broad ownership of the entire HR Operations function - including Remuneration, Evaluation, Payroll, Visa, Training, and Recruitment - and driving initiatives that enhance compliance, workforce capability, and employee experience. Working closely with the Department Head of HR Operations, you’ll lead the delivery of HR operations while supporting projects that strengthen organisational efficiency and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice across performance management, remuneration, policy, and compliance.
  • Mentor and support two HR Specialists, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver HR initiatives that drive engagement and capability.
  • Manage HR systems, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee international mobility processes, including visas and applications.
  • Coordinate payroll management and ensure adherence to WHS and Queensland employment legislation.
  • Support the Department Head of HR Operations on key projects and workforce planning.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional who brings:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in HR operations or generalist roles within complex organisations.
  • Proven capability mentoring and developing a close knit HR team members.
  • Strong technical knowledge across compliance, HR policy, and performance frameworks, with sound understanding of Queensland legislation and WHS.
  • Demonstrated experience managing international visa and mobility processes.
  • A collaborative style and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural, bilingual office environment.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
