Troocoo are proud to be partnering with a leading insurance company to find a Head of Brand, Sponsorships, and PR to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping the brand identity, sponsorship portfolio, and public relations strategy of one of Australia's fastest-growing insurance providers. With a significant annual investment and broad strategic scope, the role is ideal for a commercially minded brand leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving measurable outcomes.

About the Role:
You'll manage a high-profile sponsorship portfolio, execute proactive and reactive PR strategies, and ensure all activity meets regulatory standards within the financial services sector. Operating with significant autonomy, this role is also responsible for embedding governance frameworks, managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous innovation in campaign delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive brand strategy across above-the-line and through-the-line channels.
  • Design and execute a multi-year sponsorship strategy, including management of major sports sponsorships and activations.
  • Oversee all PR strategy and execution, including proactive media engagement, issues management, and crisis communications.
  • Managing the production of TV, outdoor, and radio campaigns.
  • Act as the risk and compliance lead across brand, PR, and sponsorship initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing automation, data, and executive stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Coach and mentor a high-performing team, embedding a culture of accountability, creativity, and best practice.
  • Champion innovation, introducing new technologies and data-driven methodologies to enhance performance and effectiveness.

About You:
  • Extensive senior-level experience in brand, marketing, sponsorship, and PR.
  • Proven experience managing major brand campaigns and large sponsorship investments.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management in marketing.
  • High-level stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
  • Track record of managing high-performing teams and driving strategic growth.
  • Experience managing crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Must have experience working in regulated industries (e.g. financial services, banking, insurance, wagering).
