This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing daily financial activities, end-of-month reporting, financial planning and analysis, and statutory compliance. You’ll play a key role in driving financial efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring best-practice financial management across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including payroll, vendor payments, banking activities, and cash flow monitoring.
- Lead month-end close processes, reconciliations, financial reviews, and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, management reports, and provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure adherence to AASB & IFRS standards, manage annual audits, and assist in tax reporting requirements.
- Act as the key finance contact for stakeholders, presenting financial insights and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years of experience in financial accounting or audit.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, AASB Accounting Standards, and Australian payroll functions
- Proven experience with financial modelling, reporting systems, and compliance
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills.
