Graphic Designer

Job description

Reporting to the Digital and Brand Manager, the Graphic Designer’s role is to support the timely and quality delivery of engaging visual communications.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with media, events, and engagement teams to create compelling graphic design elements, including presentations, flyers, newsletters, and e-marketing materials.
  • Provide design support for the Website Redevelopment Project alongside the Brand and Digital Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating the production and logistics of branded merchandise with the Marketing and Engagement Manager and Events Team.
  • Maintain brand visual identity across print and digital platforms, including the website, intranet, and social media.
  • Foster excellent relationships and provide outstanding customer service to stakeholders, including staff, students, sponsors, and industry leaders.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in all marketing and communications activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate Affairs and Marketing.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, advertising, or visual marketing.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality audio-visual content for social media and websites.
  • Experience in coordinating marketing and internal communications campaigns across various platforms.
  • Strong visual design skills with a track record of working in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, WordPress and Vision6. 
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a relaxed, personable manner, working effectively within a team and taking constructive feedback.
  • Detail-oriented with strong literacy skills and a commitment to quality.
