Job description
About the Company
At CleanCo, we are shaping the future of energy in Queensland as the state’s low-emissions electricity generation and trading company. We are harnessing Queensland’s natural gifts to fuel leading industrial and commercial customers with clean, affordable, reliable energy while unlocking the next horizon of sustainable growth for Queensland’s regions and hubs.
To realise that vision, we strive to create an organisation that is representative of Queensland and its people. We are a team of people who are motivated to create a better world now and for future generations, and if that resonates with you, we invite you to consider a career with CleanCo. We value and respect people of all ages, genders, races, religions, sexual orientation, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
About the Role
The Technology Governance & Vendor Lead will establish and manage technology vendor contracts to drive strategic objectives and deliver outcomes that effectively meet CleanCo’s requirements. This is a newly created opportunity and is part of the Technology Governance, Security Management team that ensures that the Technology function continues to deliver optimal service and value to CleanCo’s business stakeholders and its’ customers through governance oversight, and the management of technology risk and security requirements.
About You
You bring expertise in developing and operationalising Vendor Management Frameworks to continuously deliver value.
You have substantial demonstrated experience in managing technology contracts including cloud based multi-sourced and outsourced services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Your previous experience gives you the skills to manage technology-enabled vendor relationships, contract and commercial terms and conditions, and product or service performance within the Queensland Government GITC framework.
Your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills means that you thrive on leading working groups and conducting presentations, with the confidence to consult, negotiate and manage change management processes.
Your technical expertise and knowledge of governance and vendor management processes are backed up by your tertiary qualification in either Business, Law, Information Technology or related discipline, relevant Azure and/or AWS Certifications.
You confidently manage the process of drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions whilst ensuring contract and procurement activities align with the Technology budget.
You deliver an optimal service and value to business stakeholders through governance oversight and the management of technology risk and security requirements.
You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of low emission, renewable, reliable, and affordable energy for Queensland.
What We Can Offer
