Fleet Allocator

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator.  In this role, you will manage fleet logistics and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.

Shift Available: Mon to Fri: 8am - 5pm + every second Saturday morning. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating and scheduling deliveries to meet delivery in full, on time targets.
  • Managing logistics challenges in real-time, including re-routing and stakeholder updates.
  • Maximising fleet utilisation while ensuring safety and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring inventory and stock levels at depots to prevent delays.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring proactive communication about delivery status.

Experience Required
  • Experience in fleet allocation, scheduling, or logistics coordination.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under time pressures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP is advantageous
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team environment.
  • Industry experience in transport, manufacturing or building materials.
