About the position 

The Financial Controller is a newly created position within the group, and will lead a financial reporting team responsible for all Financial and Management Accounting. The Financial Controller will report to the CFO, and support the business in a range of reporting and analytics. 
  • Prepare annual financial statements, audits, reports, analysis and commentary.
  • Preparation of financial and statutory accounting and taxation returns.
  • Manage and monitor cash management.
  • Maintain integrity of the Financial Management Information System.
  • Formulation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts including reporting on variances.
  • Liaising with senior management in the development of budgets.
  • Develop and enhance financial modelling tools.
  • Review and implement new financial processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for special accounting projects that may arise.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple divisions and locations. 
About the Candidate
  • CA/CA Qualified 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or Commerce.
  • Demonstrated eight 8-10 years’ experience as a finance leader.
  • Demonstrated high level planning, monitoring and budget management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate a highly skilled finance team.
