They are looking for a Team leader of Financial Accounting, supporting the Australian operations to understand financial information and help influence decisions. 

About the Role.
The Team Leader Financial Accounting, will be well suited to a candidate who is looking for their first move into industry or has previously been within a business services team. You will have a natural desire for continued self development and learning and be a team player. The role will support the operations by working closely with management and stakeholders around advising on performance and trends. 

• Review and produce financial reports ensuring they are accurate. 
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor, coach and develop a team of 2/3.
• Complete tasks relating to the preparation of financial reports and P&Ls. 
• Ensure all financial reports are completed within deadlines.
• Ensure GST & Payroll tax returns are lodged accurately and on time.
• Continually develop technical and personal skills.
• Consistently develop efficient processes and improve systems.  

About the Candidate. 
The Team Leader Financial Accounting will have experience of communicating and advising non-finance business leaders and have led small teams with the following attributes;

• CA/CPA qualified. 
• Tertiary degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce. 
• Passion for improving processes. 
• Strong and effective systems skills.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships. 

You will be a team player with a natural desire to constantly improve your technical knowledge.
