About the role:
  
This role is responsible for providing assistance to the Transactional Accounting and Reporting and Analysis Manager with the consolidation and preparation of all internal and external reporting obligations. detailed reconciliations and works collaboratively with both Australian and US teams.
Success in this role is ability to process a high volume of work with minimal supervision, having a can-do attitude, ability to problem solve complex issues and a focus on continuous process improvement.
  
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Management/Financial Reporting & Financial Analysis
  • support the month-end close process, including journal entries, financial reconciliations, and preparation and review of management reporting deliverables,
  • Conduct profit and loss analysis, including trend analysis and cost control measures.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in alignment with the month-end schedule.
  • Perform financial analysis and variance reporting, challenging business results and ensuring correct application of cost channelling principles.
  • Handle tax accounting and compliance, focusing on transfer pricing and coordinating with external tax specialists.
  • Compliance Reporting, assist in the delivery of the annual financial close processes and the filing of audited statutory accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships to promote coordinated financial management practices across the organization, acting as a trusted adviser to the programs, payroll, and transactional teams.
  
The successful candidate:

Ideally you will have two years commerical expeirnece and have worked in audit or business services. You will be eager to learn, open to developing your financial reporting and management reporting skill set and seeking a role which requires high attention to detail and demanding internal stakeholders.
