Finance Officer

Job description

Our client is a commercial construction company experiencing significant growth.  They are requiring an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a part-time basis.

Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Running of day-to-day financial requirements
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions including banking, invoicing, payments and debt collection
  • Superannuation returns
  • Weekly Payroll of 15+ employees
  • Communicating with external accountant with quarterly BAS, annual tax returns/accounts and any other ATO requirements
  • Banking, payments and reconciliations
  • Other ad-hoc financial/management accounting duties as requested by Director
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role (construction industry experience preferred)
  • Experience with XERO software
  • Proficient IT skills including use of Outlook, Word, Excel
