Finance Officer

Our client is a commercial construction company experiencing significant growth. They are requiring an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a part-time basis.
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Running of day-to-day financial requirements
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions including banking, invoicing, payments and debt collection
- Superannuation returns
- Weekly Payroll of 15+ employees
- Communicating with external accountant with quarterly BAS, annual tax returns/accounts and any other ATO requirements
- Banking, payments and reconciliations
- Other ad-hoc financial/management accounting duties as requested by Director
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role (construction industry experience preferred)
- Experience with XERO software
- Proficient IT skills including use of Outlook, Word, Excel
