Finance Manager

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the leadership team, you will ensure the finance function operates accurately and predictably. You will take full responsibility for general ledger integrity, balance sheet control and oversight of receivables.

This role suits someone who values autonomy and flexibility but takes accountability seriously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full ownership of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversight of accounts receivable and aged debtors reporting
  • Management of a sizeable receivables ledger (circa $5m at any given time)
  • Daily/weekly liaison with external credit control agency
  • Monitoring agency performance and recovery outcomes
  • Cash flow oversight and reporting
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Year-end preparation and coordination with external accountants/auditors
  • BAS, statutory reporting and compliance obligations
  • Maintenance of internal controls and financial discipline
About You:
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical financial accounting background
  • Proven experience maintaining general ledger and balance sheet integrity
  • Experience overseeing sizeable debtor ledgers
  • Confidence managing external providers
  • High attention to detail and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
