Troocoo is pleased to be partnering with Centacare on the appointment of an Executive Support Manager.

Centacare is a values led organisation supporting frontline workers and communities across Queensland. With most of the workforce delivering services on the frontline, the organisation exists to support people who support others.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Support Manager to work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director and to lead the administration function that supports the organisation. This role suits someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, bringing structure to busy environments and using systems and technology to support effective leadership.

The role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, you will act as a trusted partner within the Office of the CEO, enabling effective leadership through strong organisation, sound judgement and consistent follow-through.
This role goes beyond coordination. You will help establish the executive operating rhythm, ensure actions are captured and progressed, and use systems and technology to improve efficiency and clarity across the executive office.

You will also lead the administration function, including reception and executive office support, creating a professional, calm and well run office environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide high quality executive office support to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director
    • Support the smooth operation of the Office of the CEO through structure and organisation
    • Capture actions and ensure follow up from meetings and discussions
    • Prepare executive briefings, reports and Board papers
    • Coordinate Executive Leadership Team meetings and support action tracking
    • Establish consistent workflows and ways of working across the executive office
    • Use Microsoft tools such as Teams SharePoint OneNote and task tracking systems to improve efficiency
    • Provide people leadership across administration reception and executive office support roles
    • Act as a central coordination point across a diverse and complex stakeholder group
About you
You are an experienced executive support professional who brings warmth, professionalism and structure to your work. You are comfortable operating in confidential environments and enjoy supporting senior leaders to focus on what matters most

You will bring
  • Experience supporting a Chief Executive Officer or senior executive
  • Experience leading or coordinating administration or executive office support teams
  • Confidence using technology and systems to support effective ways of working
  • Strong organisation prioritisation and follow through
  • High levels of discretion emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Experience in health human services community services or other frontline environments highly regarded
  • Strong alignment to purpose and values led work
