Troocoo are assisting a valued Government client recruit an Executive Officer (AO5). This is a contract commencing immediately until the end of the year, based in Brisbane CBD with the possibility to extend. This position will be a support role providing a high level of executive support to the Executive Management Team.

The hourly contract rate is $65.17 p/hour + super | You must be available to commence immediately.

Previous Government experience is highly regarded for this opportunity.
  
Your new position
As an Executive Assistant, your duties will include:
  • Provide administrative tasks including diary management, meeting support, conference/travel/accommodation bookings and itineraries, facilitate correspondence processes, including collating information, tracking progress and management of deadlines.
  • Provide accurate, confidential, and timely executive support, including word processing, document coordination, minute taking and preparation of materials for meetings
  • Utilise document management systems, web pages, business directory, filing systems, and distribution or mailing lists.
  • Deliver tasks and activities individually or as team member, with an emphasis on quality within time constraints.
  • Assist with management of team inbox including progressing requests and following up to ensure they are completed on time.
  • Under limited direction you will coordinate correspondence, corporate documentation, papers, talking points, research papers, briefs, and other communications
  • Liaise with stakeholders and assist with the resolution of moderately complex to complex policy, project or operational issues, responding to their needs and expectations as required
  • Proactively assist and pre-empt the priorities for your Executive.
  
Your Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience and a strong and demonstrated understanding in the following areas:
  • Advanced organisational skills including ability to manage competing priorities and work
  • Experience using databases and record keeping systems.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse numerical and written information
  • Reliable and adaptable to respond to changes in workloads and priorities.
  • Ability to deal with change, show initiative and respond quickly to urgent requests
  • Previous experience as a well established EA/PA is required
  • Previous public sector experience will be highly regarded
