Salary: $97k plus super plus salary packaging options. 

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-level support to the State President (Chair of the Board – volunteer) and broader Board Executive.

Reporting to the Senior EA of the CEO and working closely with a collaborative EA Cohort, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and purpose-driven environment. You’ll be a trusted right hand, anticipating needs, managing calendars and travel, and ensuring smooth operations across executive commitments.

This is a hands-on, in-office role (minimum 3 days per week) that plays a vital part in supporting leadership, governance activity, and stakeholder engagement at the highest level of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide confidential, proactive, and high-quality administrative support to the State President and Board Executive
  • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, invitations, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and coordinate agendas, briefings, and event logistics
  • Draft correspondence and manage internal and external communication
  • Maintain accurate and secure records and information systems
  • Provide in-person support for meetings, events, and official functions
  • Act as the first point of contact for key stakeholders including board members, internal teams, and external partners
  • Foster strong professional relationships and respond to enquiries with diplomacy and care
  • Support executive participation in meetings, public appearances, and governance activities
  • Work as part of a supportive EA Cohort with shared responsibilities, including occasional reception coverage
  • Support internal collaboration and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Provide cross-coverage and contribute to team-wide workflow management
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 5–10 years' experience in a senior Executive Assistant or governance support role
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Experience in not-for-profit, member-based, or governance-focused organisations highly desirable
  • Willingness to be onsite at least three days per week and as required for board activity
